Video: Lady Gaga Co-Hosts/Performs on ‘The View’

Mother Monster continues to aggressively promote Born This Way, even after selling over a million copies in its first week of release.  Gaga sat at the round table with the ladies of The View as co-host talking about the late Clarence Clemons and Amy Winehouse.

And of course, she performed her smash hit “The Edge of Glory” and new single “You and I.”  She’s one hardworking diva!

Video: Lady Gaga Wows on ‘SYTYCD’ and ‘Jimmy Kimmel’

The reigning Queen of Pop Lady Gaga was all over your television screen last night.  First, she stopped by So You Think You Can Dance for a show stopping performance of “The Edge of Glory” and “You and I.”  She was also a guest judge.

Mother Monster also had a chat with Jimmy Kimmel, talking about everything from starting a family to earning five Emmy nominations to cooking.  She also performed. (Sidenote: Loving her hair and outfit during the interview!!)  Video below:

Video: Lady Gaga ‘Swoons’ Over Nick Jonas Cover

Jonas Brothers’ Nick Jonas put his own spin on Lady Gaga’s “The Edge of Glory” during a recent live show and got rave reviews from the singer herself:

Swoon! Nick Jonas singing The Edge of Glory,” Gaga tweeted on Sunday (July 3). “On my way to press conference in Taichung, listening to it. So dreamy! X.”

Nick tweeted back:

“@ladygaga the pleasure is all mine. That is a beautiful song. Keep inspiring the world.”

“The Edge of Glory” does sound beautiful acoustic…makes you pay more attention to the lyrics, which are pretty dope.  Watch Nick’s cover below:

Lady Gaga turns it down in the visuals for “The Edge of Glory.”  Instead of opting for over the top sets, numerous costume changes and controversial subject lines, Mother Monster dances solo in just one Versace outfit.  Accompanying her is Clarence Clemon of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, who plays saxophone on what looks to be a NYC front stoop while Gaga does her thing.

This reminds me of the character Mimi from the Broadway musical Rent. For all my Broadway heads, you may think of Mimi’s “Out Tonight” as you watch “Edge of Glory”….at least I did.

Do you like this “toned down” Gaga?  Watch below:
