Common, Nas & Lauryn Hill Headline Rock The Bells Festival [Video]

We gave you pictures to gaze at earlier, now watch a few performances from some of music’s best. Common, Lauryn Hill and Nas all headlined this year’s Rock The Bells festival and you know they put on a show. The festivities took place at San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino in California just yesterday.

Lauryn performed the entire album of “The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill”, Nas performed Ghetto Dreams with Common and Nas and Lauryn even reunited for “If I Ruled The World“. This concert sounds so dope beyond words. Other performers included Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Raekwon and  Ghostface Killah.

Video: ‘Ghetto Dreams’ Common ft. Nas

Common and Nas are having hip-hop dreams in the Matt Alonzo-directed visuals for their collaboration “Ghetto Dreams.”  In the clip, the rappers fall asleep and envision their ghetto queen, played by famous video diva Bria Myles, doing everything from cooking to picking out a good shoe.

The track will appear on Common’s next album, The Dreamer, The Believer, dropping November 22.

Sidenote: Is anyone feeling this Freeway beard that Common is growing out?  He still looks good to me.

Common is kickin’ it old school with the Nas-assisted “Ghetto Dreams,” the first single from his ninth studio album The Dreamer, The Believer.  Common talks about his “hood Cinderella” while Nas spits a verse about his “African Queen” on the No I.D produced record.  This will be the first album that Common releases under his new contract with Warner Brothers Records.

P.S: Don’t you just LOVE the cover art (above)?! They’re taking it waaaaaay back with that one!
