Friday night it was reported that Big Sean was arrested on complaints of sexual assault on a woman during an “ArtPac” concert. Sean was allegedly charged with third-degree sex abuse, forcible touching and second-degree unlawful imprisonment.
Big Sean’s lawyer, Scott Leemon, has released a statement saying:
“Last night, recording artists, Sean “Big Sean” Anderson and Willie “Sayitainttone” Hansbro were arrested and then immediately released by the NY State Police in connection with an allegation made by a female who was at their concert in Lewiston, New York. Both men were charged with misdemeanors and they both vehemently deny the allegations. I am confident, that after further investigation, both men will be vindicated.”
I don’t know what went down but I hope Big Sean’s name gets cleared. It’s way too early for this type of scandal, wouldn’t you say?
Kelly Rowland celebrated the release of her third solo album Here I Am at the top of the Standard Hotel in NYC. Guests included DC members Beyonce Knowles and Michelle Williams, 106 & Park’s Terrence J., Tika Sumpter, Estelle, Big Sean, Kevin Liles and others.
She also stopped by Planet Hollywood to put her hand print and signature in cement. It looks like Kelly had a fabulous album release day. Go diva, go!!

Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean and Curren$y continue to push out music from their upcoming joint mixtape after already releasing three tracks this past week. “Proceed” is another laid back track produced by Cardo.
“Proceed” and get what you need:
Up and comers Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean and Curren$y are coming together for a joint mixtape and “Weed Brownies” is one of their first offerings. I am definitely feeling this “smoky collaboration.”
“Weed, money, and hoes, what a hell of a night/ Night? F**k you mean, this is everyday life.”

The trio also released “Flowers” earlier this week. I’m feeling the old school sound:
Kanye West and G.O.O.D music signee Big Sean suit up for the single cover for “Marvin & Chardonnay,” the next single from Finally Famous. Big Sean posed for the cover and a previously seen image of Ye was used. Hype Williams directed the visuals for the song, which should drop soon.
Most people love the song, but are you feeling the artwork? Hate it or love it?
G.O.O.D Music is responsible for jump-starting the careers of many of today’s stars including Kid Cudi, Common and John Legend; most people don’t know that it’s never had a record label home…until now.
Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music imprint will now become a part of the Island Def Jam family with a worldwide label agreement deal; Big Sean will be the first artist to benefit from this partnership. The announcement was made this morning by Kanye West, Universal Motown Republic Group and Island Def Jam Music Group Chairman & CEO Barry Weiss, and President & COO of Island Def Jam Music Group Steve Bartels.
Weiss released the following statement following the announcement:
“As a recording artist and a producer over the past eight years, there is no one who has made a greater impression on the game than Kanye. We look forward to working closely with the new and established artists that he will be bringing to G.O.O.D. Music, which is already off to an impressive start with Big Sean…Kanye is an integral core member of the IDJ family, and G.O.O.D. Music continues his unselfish tradition of bringing along great new artists to the forefront.”
Big Sean is a lucky man. His debut album, Finally Famous, dropped today. Are you buying?
