Leona Lewis has released the first single from her upcoming new album “Glass Heart”, she says this album will have a darker side but also uptempo songs that her fans will love. It’s been awhile since we’ve heard some new music from the “Bleeding Love” singer. Catch the video below.
Can you believe that Mary J. Blige’s 10th studio album will be hitting retailers in October?! This diva’s been doing the damn thing for a long time. Last night, she released a new single from My Life II: The Journey Continues called “25/8.” It’s produced by Eric Hudson with a super soulful beat and equally soulful lyrics:
“‘Cause I got days and days of love for you boy/ And I don’t wanna have to rush, but 24/7 ain’t enough/ ‘Cause I got so much love for you boy/ I need another hour and a day so I can love you 25/8.”
Lil’ Wayne teams up with Bruno Mars for the track “Mirrors” on the deluxe edition of “Tha Carter IV” which will be available on Monday. Bruno adds the soul to the track and it matches great as Wayne gets his feelings out. He references his estranged father and Michael Jackson saying:
(“Lookin’ at me now I can see my past/ Damn, I look just like my fu**in’ dad”), while taking inspiration from the King of Pop. “And no message could have been any clearer, so I’m starting with the man in the mirror,” he says. “MJ taught me that.”

Rapper Nicki Minaj is nowhere to be found on the new David Guetta track “Turn Me On.” Instead, Young Money’s first lady is singing the entire time…and sounds pretty great doing it. I hardly recognized her voice. Guetta previously told Billboard:
“I am so proud of what [Nicki] did on this record because we know her for those crazy raps but the other record that we have, she is singing like—oh man. The world is gonna be shocked. Because they don’t know her like this. And we came up with that amazing song and she just killed it.”
The song will appear on Nothing But the Beat, dropping next week (August 29). Take a listen:
Jennifer Hudson is going from R&B to dance diva with David Guetta. The I Remember Me singer is featured on “Night of Your Life,” another track from Guetta’s Nothing But the Beat dropping August 29. This reminds me of 90’s club music…and not in a bad way.
Are you feeling J-Hud’s new sound or do you think she should stick to ballads? Take a listen below:
After making instant party smash “Shots,” Lil Jon collaborates with hip-pop duo LMFAO for part two. “Drink” is another one for the clubs and you already know what this song is about:
“One shot, two shot, three shot, four/take that bottle to head/have one fxckin’ more”
If you haven’t heard of The Weeknd ye,t get to know him because he’s on the come up. “The Zone” is a Drake- assisted track from his newest mixtape Thursday. The Toronto lyricist is bringing a sexy, mellow feeling back into the game. The Weeknd gets into his zone rapping:
“I been making love to her through you/ so let me keep my eyes closed”
