George Lopez’s ‘Lopez Tonight’ Cancelled
TBS Network announced just moments ago that they would be pulling the plug on George Lopez’s show Lopez Tonight. Though the show has only been on air for two seasons, it became a late-night favorite among viewers. Apparently, the change takes effect immediately which means tomorrow night’s show will be its last. Guests are Raven Symone and Auggie Smith.
TBS released the following statement regarding the cancellation:
“TBS has reached the difficult decision not to order a third season of Lopez Tonight. We are proud to have partnered with George Lopez, who is an immensely talented comedian and entertainer. According to E! Online, the comedian is already busy with other things. He is set to co-host the ALMA Awards with Eva Longoria on September 16 and already has another sitcom in the works.
