divaTunes: ‘Hot Tottie (Unreleased Version)’ Usher ft. Ciara

Yesterday, ATL producer Polow da Don released the original version of Usher’s “Hot Tottie,” which was originally meant to feature Ciara.  The version we all heard last year featured background vocals from the song’s co-writer Ester Dean and a guest verse from Jay-Z. This time, Ciara covers the background vocals and sings her own verse.

I’m not sure why this version is just seeing the light of day, but Ciara sounds fantastic.  This could’ve been a hit that made her semi-relevant again.  Too bad.
