Don’t Drink and Drive: Ryan Dunn at Double Alcohol Limit Before Passing
Autopsy and toxicology reports confirm that Ryan Dunn was drunk the night he passed in a horrific car accident. He drove his Porsche at 130 MPH off a Pennsylvania road, killing him and passenger, Jackass production assistant Zachary Hartwell.
Dunn’s alcohol level was .196; the legal limit in Pennsylvania is .08. It’s reported that he consumed at least three beers and several shots before getting behind the wheel.
According to West Goshen Police Chief Michael Carroll, no other substances besides alcohol were found in his system.
“I’ve never seen a car destroyed in an automobile accident the way this car was even before it caught on fire,” Carroll said previously. “The automobile actually came apart. It was unbelievable and I’ve been on a lot of fatal accident scenes. This is by far the worse I’ve seen.”
